Crab and Gruyere Meltaway Appetizers RecipeIngredients1 Brioche or Challah Breads6 oz. Super Lump Crab Meat½ teaspoon Stone Ground Mustard¼ teaspoon salt1 tablespoon mayonnaise1 cup Gruyere cheese, grated4 oz salted butterMicrogreens for garnishBaby heirloom tomatoes for garnishDirectionsPreheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.Cut the bread into ¼ inch thick slices, and lightly grill on both sides for 1-2 minutes. Chop into approximately 2-inch by 1-inch rectangles, making 12 pieces.In a large bowl, mix the crab meat, mustard, mayo, salt, and cheese.Melt the butter and with a basting brush, brush the top side of each toast, then place about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture on top of each toast.Place the crab meltaways on a non-stick cookie sheet, or a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
